How can I add charms to my Sweetie Bracelet?

You can add charms yourself by using any of the 5 split rings which are incorporated into the design of the bracelet. If you run out of split rings then more can be added, these cost £5 for a bag of 5. These can also be attached at your nearest store or by sending your bracelet in to us at Links of London, Returns Department, PO Box 1198, Guildford, GU1 9FY. If you choose to send your bracelet into us please do so by recorded delivery and include a covering letter and please note that there will be a postage and packaging charge.

How can I add / remove my Sweetie Rings?

Links can be added or removed from your Sweetie Bracelet to make the bracelet larger or smaller according to your needs – this can be done in your nearest store or by sending your bracelet in to us at Links of London, Returns Department, PO Box 1198, Guildford, GU1 9FY. Additional Sweetie Rings cost £10 for a bag of 5 rings, and please be aware that there is a charge of £10 to add or remove Sweetie Rings as the Sweetie bracelet will also need to be restrung. If you choose to send your bracelet into us please do so by recorded delivery and include a covering letter and please note that there will be a postage and packaging charge.

How can I have my Sweetie Bracelet restrung?

We recommend that all of our Sweetie Bracelets are restrung annually or when the silicon elastic seems to be loosening in order to prevent them from breaking. There is a small charge of £10 for this service and this can be done at your nearest store or by sending your bracelet in to us at Links of London, Returns Department, PO Box 1198, Guildford, GU1 9FY. If you choose to send your bracelet into us please do so by recorded delivery and include a covering letter and please note that there will be a postage and packaging charge.

Can I restring my Sweetie Bracelet myself?

We recommend that you do not restring your bracelet yourself as we use a special silicone string and knot.

How can I clean my Sweetie Bracelet?

You can clean your Sweetie Bracelet yourself by using a Silver Cleaning Cloth which we sell in all our stores. Alternatively if you would like your bracelet professionally cleaned you can send your bracelet in to us at Links of London, Returns Department, PO Box 1198, Guildford, GU1 9FY. If you choose to send your bracelet into us please do so by recorded delivery and include a covering letter. Please note that there will be a postage and packaging charge, as well as a £10 charge for the cleaning of the bracelet and a £10 charge for the restringing.

How is my Sweetie Bracelet professionally cleaned?

First of all we polish the bracelet using a polishing wheel and polishing rouge. We then clean the bracelet using an ultrasonic machine whereby the bracelet is dipped into a combination of water and cleaner which is vibrated to remove any remaining dirt. The excess is then rinsed away and the bracelet is dried. The bracelet is then restrung as during the cleaning process the silicon elastic often becomes dirty and the knot is weakened. We will also individually clean any charms attached to the bracelet during this process. Please note that there is a £10 charge for the cleaning of the bracelet and a £10 charge for the restringing.

Our Sweetie bracelets are available in many different materials, these are explained below.

What is Gold Plate?

Gold plate is created by a process whereby a base metal such as stainless steel is plated with a thin layer of gold through electroplating. This material is used on our Sweetie Watches only.

What is Gold Vermeil?

Gold vermeil is sterling silver which has been plated with gold through an electrolytic process. This material is used in our Yellow Gold, Rose Gold and Sweetie Stone versions.

What is Rolled Gold?

Rolled gold is created by a process where a sheet of gold is rolled with another precious metal (for example, silver) to create a thick gold layer. This material is used in our 18ct Rolled Gold Sweetie Bracelet and our Sweetie 18ct Rolled Gold bracelet with Freshwater Pearls.
